This Talent Agreement outlines the standard terms that apply when Empowered Elegance enters into a representation relationship with a model or talent. A formal, signed agreement will be issued separately. This document serves as a general reference for prospective talent.
Agency Representation
By entering into a representation agreement with Empowered Elegance, you appoint us as your non-exclusive or exclusive talent management agency (as specified in your individual contract) for the purposes of securing modelling, commercial, editorial, brand partnership, and related bookings.
We act as your agent in negotiations with clients and are authorised to discuss rates, terms, and booking conditions on your behalf, subject to your final approval on all confirmed engagements.

Empowered Elegance operates on a commission basis. Our standard agency commission rate is:
- Local Bookings (Ghana): 20% of the gross booking fee
- International Bookings: 25% of the gross booking fee
- Brand Partnerships & Long-Term Campaigns: Negotiated individually, stated in your personal contract
We never charge upfront registration or portfolio fees to talent we represent. Any costs associated with professional portfolio production offered by the agency are either fully covered by EE or deducted from future earnings as agreed in writing.
Talent Obligations
As a represented talent, you agree to:
- Maintain professional conduct on all bookings, castings, and agency events
- Keep your measurements, availability, and contact details up to date with the agency
- Not accept or negotiate bookings independently that fall within the scope of our representation agreement without prior written notification to the agency
- Attend confirmed bookings punctually and prepared as briefed
- Notify the agency immediately of any health changes, conflicts of interest, or circumstances that may affect your bookings
- Represent the Empowered Elegance brand with professionalism and integrity at all times
Portfolio & Image Rights
You grant Empowered Elegance a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your portfolio images, name, and likeness on our website, social media, and marketing materials for the purpose of promoting you to potential clients. You retain full ownership of your images.
For any third-party usage rights negotiated on your behalf (e.g., brand campaigns, editorial exclusives), specific usage terms and duration will be stated in the individual booking contract and require your approval.
Minor Talent
For talent under 18 years of age, all representation agreements must be co-signed by a parent or legal guardian. A guardian must be present or reachable during all bookings, castings, and agency appointments. We follow all applicable child protection laws and industry guidelines without exception.

Either party may terminate the representation agreement with 30 days' written notice. In the event of termination:
- All confirmed, paid bookings in progress must be fulfilled
- Commission on bookings sourced by the agency during the representation period remains payable
- Portfolio materials provided to clients remain in use for confirmed campaigns only
- All agency-owned marketing materials featuring the talent will be retired within 30 days of termination
